Doing research at UCLA’s Smart Grid Energy Research Center was my best experience so far. This experience gave me the opportunity to work with brilliant engineers on a project that improves a very promising technology, V2G. During my time there, we were able to develop a mathematical model that predicts the amount of battery degradation due to utilizing V2G, which is a challenge facing the spread of this technology. I’m glad that I was able to contribute to this field, and I look forward to more research in it.
