Best thing about KGSP:
The best thing about KGSP are the opportunities available for me in providing a community that acts as a second family. As a student, you have access to a whole network of support: advisors, foundation year coordinators, instructors, alumni, and fellow colleagues. This support system is set to provide you with the best possible chance of being accepted into your dream school.
Best classes so far / What I’m doing now:
My favorite course during my FY program has been academic reading and writing.
Best experience so far / How KGSP helped me:
My favorite KGSP experience/event so far was the Pre-departure Orientation. The PDO was an environment in which I was able to build relationships with some of the most creative and brilliant students the Kingdom has to offer. I also had the opportunity to visit the world class facilities, to meet some of the esteemed professors, and lastly to get a feel of what it will be like to live in KAUST.
Advice for newbies:
My advice for a new KGSP student would be to manage your time properly. Whether you are a foundation year or undergraduate student, managing your time is the key to success. I would recommend you to work on your assignments as soon as they are assigned, and to work on tasks in order of importance. Never procrastinate, as it will lead you down a downward spiral that will be too difficult for you to return from. Learning this skill will not only help you in university, but life as well.
In five years I’ll be…
I hope to be a successful tech mogul.
Research Interests:
My research interests include artificial intelligence, robotics, design, and manufacturing.
