For me, aside from the unlimited resources for academic success, the greatest opportunity that the KGSP provides me with is the unique community that it has carefully built to lead the next generation of amazing scholars-who will most certainly make a change in the world. Members of the KGSP family are so different individually, yet so similar, and the strongest bond that brings them together is that they are all on a mission to leave their marks on earth. I believe that it's truly admirable.

My favorite KGSP experience is definitely going stargazing with my foundation year group in Austin Texas!! It was a magical experience, but what truly made it magical was the company. I've met some of the brightest minds and most genuine people during my foundation year, and that event only brought us closer. I will never forget that night...or day? we pulled an all-nighter staring at stars.

My main piece of advice for new KGSP students is to always ask questions when you are confused about anything, no matter how silly you think it is. The KGSP is a big transition in your lives, and you do NOT have to go through it alone. The KGSP community is one of the most welcoming communities I've ever been part of-hence why I call it a family. I'm confident that advisors, professors, and fellow students alike would be more than happy to help if you take the time to reach out to them.

In ten years I hope to be doing what I love, learning! Even if I end up in a place that I don't necessarily favor, I hope that my curiosity remains and that I actively seek answers for questions unanswered. As long as I am learning something new from an experience, it's a good experience in my book!
