Best thing about KGSP:
The full team of experienced, exceptional advisors that is always there to support me and my KGSP peers. Their support allows me to focus on my studies and career, without worrying about many of the issues that take up much of other undergraduates' time. The team is very involved; it puts in every effort in hopes of helping students succeed. Moreover, it makes me feel at ease knowing that whatever might happen, there are people that will support me through anything.
Best experience so far / How KGSP helped me:
The Convocation Event of 2019 was by far my favourite time spent with KGSP. Prior to the event, I was very excited to meet all my friends from KGSP, meet new ones, learn about all the exciting research done back at KAUST, and really feel connected to my future institution of graduate studies. Of course, the Convocation event did not disappoint, whatsoever. I truly had a blast. I cannot wait to attend the next Convocation Event!
Advice for newbies:
Take it easy. I remember I was quite anxious about many things: admittance to KGSP, admittance to my dream school, the SATs. The stress that builds up from thinking about these things constantly can be quite catastrophic. Do the best you can, ask for help, and stay healthy.
Research Interests:
Perovskite photovoltaic devices power conversion efficiency optimization; Applying engineering techniques to find energy solutions; Developing advanced, innovative STEM education approaches
